About the Hawaiian Comic Book Alliance

From design to printing, fine art to multi-media, writing to publishing, pencil to graphics tablet, we represent a body of experience as varied as our art styles.

We come from all walks of life, established artists, self-publishers, collaborators, and some of us are artists of the starving variety. But one thing that we all have in common is a passion for our craft that we love to share with others.

​Founded by Sam Campos, "The Godfather of Hawaii Comics", as a way to bring together the local artists and creators of comic books and superheroes, the group has grown into an "art ohana".

We inspire and support each other's projects, give encouragement to aspiring artists, and appear at school, library and other events that serve the community.
