Dwayne A. Acoba aka Art Champloo
Dwayne A. Acoba was born on Oahu, Hawaii. From a young age, he was a fan of cartoons, and established himself as a graffiti artist in the 80's. After graduating from St. Louis High School with a scholarship in art, he attended The Art Institute of Seattle where he earned a degree in Illustration and Design.
Upon his return to Hawaii, Dwayne worked for graphic companies doing advertising and editorial work by hand as the industry was not yet digital. For the last five years, he has attended Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle as a fan.
In his free time, Dwayne enjoys playing guitar, video games, watching movies, going to comic shops, and hanging out with his art family in coffee shops.
In collaboration with Garma Graphic Design, Paua Haus Comics and Mahaloha, M is his first comic creation. You can find him at conventions and events in Hawaii under the name, Art Champloo.
